Between Rustenburg and Hartebeespoort lies the Buffelspoort dam. It is well known for its clean water which holds huge bass and giant carp in its depths. The dam was built in 1937 as a reservoir and is more than 130ha in size…which is why it is also a favourite destination for watersports and local holiday goers alike.
